FASHION OF LIFE - DESIGNING

Here I'm going to share how the simple word costume or a dress which basically covers our body becomes an art with different styles and patterns,which we say it and inspire them as Fashion. Fashion designing can be divided into haute couture ( custom-made), a ready to wear and mass market.

Fashion is a manifestation of human art and communication. It helps us to artistically communicate where we have been, who we are, who we want to be, where we are going and where we want to reach. Art should not be seen as a luxury. It is an element of fulfilling and expressing one's thoughts and ideas through the art form which can be of drawing, painting, dance, singing, designing, sports, even a cooking can do, cleaning,household chores etc., so on.

Fashion design is generally considered to have started in the 19th century with Charles Fredrick Worth who was the first designer to have his label sewn into the garments that he created. After that so many designers were evolved like John Redford, Christian Dior etc., and in 1950's their designs were processed through ready-to-wear and mass market. The art we wear as fashion and as we live with it, is the art we become. In fashion as an art, the person experience its effects and values the idea of a designer to intricate more designs along with its accessories to reach its golden level (ie.,) which satisfies the customer or a wearer. 

Some clothes are specifically made for an individual, as in the case of haute couture.Translated literally, couture is a French  means dressmaking, while haute means high. In simple terms it is a custom-made dress for a private or a particular customer according to their wish and size . Fashion designers work in different ways. Some sketch their ideas on paper, while others drape fabric on a dress form/mannequin. When a designer is completely satisfied with the fit of the toile (or muslin), a professional pattern maker who then makes the finished working version of the pattern out of card. Finally, a sample garment is made up and tested on a model to make sure it is an operational outfit.

Fashion designers attempt to design clothes which are functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. They consider who is likely to wear a garment and the situations in which it will be worn, and they work within a wide range of materials, colors, patterns and styles. Though most clothing worn for everyday falls within a narrow range of conventional styles, unusual garments are usually sought for special occasions such as evening wear or party dresses,.

Fashion is one of the purest expressions of art because it is art lived on a daily basis.
